Yes, absolutely.  Everyone is welcome to attend the festivities!

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT FINEST RESORT?

Resort Policy: All wedding guests must stay at the resort.

Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the premises.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

All invitees will be addressed on the invitations.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE RESORT?

Our wedding is on SUNDAY March 24th.
Please plan to arrive at least by Friday, March 22nd.  Please take into consideration the possibility of flight delays or flight cancellations when booking flights. We'd hate for you to miss out on celebrating with us!

Also, please be sure to check the EVENTS tab for a list of events so that you can plan your trip accordingly.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?

Beach Semiformal/Cocktail wedding attire.


The ceremony will be held on the beach and the reception will be held on wood decking. 

Ladies ~ We want to be sure you are comfortable and ready to dance! Please keep this in mind as heels or stilettos will be challenging.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?

As soon as you know you will be joining us!
*Please note, there will be another wedding at the resort during our weekend. Rooms are expected to sell out the closer it gets to the wedding date. If you are not able to secure a room at the resort, you will not be able to attend the wedding as the resort requires all guests to stay on site.*

Your room reservation is refundable and it only takes $1 to reserve and secure your room now. You can make changes (at no additional cost) to your reservation up until Janurary 20, 2024.

*There is NO room block in place holding rooms for our group. Please do not wait to book*

LAST DAY TO BOOK?

The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is January 30th.  Any modifications after January 30th will cancel your current reservation and will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which will be a much higher rate.


IMPORTANT!

You must make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged 30 days before your arrival date.  Your reservation will be cancelled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired.

DO I NEED TO TIP?

Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff (you are not obligated to add additional tip).  However, if you feel your server/bartender/etc. has delivered exceptional service, then absolutely, feel free to tip at your discretion!

PASSPORT ASSISTANCE?

If you are in need of renewing your expired passport, please schedule your appointment as soon as possible as you do risk the possibility of not receiving your passport in time.

There may be a delay on passport applications.  Local government officials have been able to expedite passport renewals or requests. Here are the steps:

1. Set up your passport appointment as you normally would. After your appointment, wait at least a week to check the status of it.

2. Submit a Privacy Act Release Form to your local government official of your choosing. You can submit them electronically or by mail.  For example, for Virginia, click HERE to get help from congressmen Mark Warner or HERE  for Tim Kaine. Follow all the steps listed on the website.

Within a week or so, you should receive an email update informing you that your passport application has been expedited. Please feel free to contact Antonio or Maddie for help with this.

Your passport must be valid 6 months after your return date. Every guest must have a valid passport. You will need this to board your flight and return back into the U.S. The resort will also ask for your passport when you check in for your stay. If you do not have a passport, please contact Antonio for more information on applying for or renewing your U.S. Passport.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FINEST SUITES, FINEST CLUB AND EXCELLENCE CLUB LEVELS?

Finest Playa Mujeres is a luxury resort. Regardless of room class, all rooms are of great value. There are minor differences which are listed below. 

-Finest Suites - The resorts standard room level. Adults and kids allowed.

-Finest Club - Family club level. Adults and kids allowed. Upgraded in-room premium liquor & wine bottle selection, private pool bar, VIP toiletries, private lounge with concierge service, private beach area, Nespresso machine, daily fruit & petit fours in room, fresh flowers and sparkling wine upon arrival and more...

-Excellence Club - Adults ONLY building. Same club level benefits as Finest Club, except this is restricted to adults only.
